The body rests on a stainless-steel platform inside a refractory chamber; two side-fired burners hold a controlled flame; the whole rite finishes in roughly the same window as electric but with a warmer, more familiar feel for families uncertain about the sealed electric approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Lodhi Road, the CNG chamber is a single-unit structure at the eastern edge of the ground, distinct from the two electric chambers on the western side and the traditional wooden platforms in between. All three share one MCD registration counter near the main gate \u2014 a fact that trips up families expecting separate desks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>One chamber. The two out-of-band readings traced to a valve calibration issue that the ghat operators fixed within the same audit month. Our <strong>Funeral Management Delhi<\/strong> workflow runs two tracks in parallel: our on-ground coordinator reaches the MCD counter at Lodhi Road while the hearse van is still en route from Raghubir Nagar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Slot rules every family should know:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>No online \/ phone advance booking.<\/strong> Physical presence of body and documents is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>Single chamber.<\/strong> The next family cannot enter until the previous cremation and clean cycle are complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>Cold chamber cost 15 minutes.<\/strong> If the unit has been idle since the previous evening, the chamber needs a pre-heat run before ignition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>No metal on or in the body.<\/strong> Jewellery, dentures, pacemakers, hearing aids \u2014 all must be removed before body transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>Viewing hatch capacity: 3\u20134 immediate family members.<\/strong> No children below 12 for safety reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>Same-evening asthi collection is required.<\/strong> The counter closes overnight and doesn&#8217;t hold ash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 <strong>Cash for the municipal fee.<\/strong> UPI is not accepted at the Lodhi Road MCD counter.
