Last Ride Funeral: Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of funeral and related services by Last Ride Funeral ("Last Ride," "we," "us," or "our") to you, the client or authorized representative ("you" or "client"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Offered

Last Ride Funeral specializes in providing comprehensive funeral planning, preparation, and execution services. Our services may include, but are not limited to:

• Casket and Urn Selection: Providing a range of choices for final disposition vessels.

• Embalming and Preparation: Professional preparation of the deceased as requested or required.

• Venue Coordination: Arranging and coordinating the use of appropriate facilities for viewings, services, and ceremonies.

• Transportation: Managing the transport of the deceased and necessary personnel (e.g., hearse, limousines).

• Documentation and Permits: Assisting with the necessary legal documents, death certificates, and permits.

• Cremation or Burial Services: Facilitating the final disposition choice of the client.

1.1 Service Limitations

While we strive to accommodate all reasonable requests, Last Ride Funeral reserves the right to decline or limit services that:

• Contravene local laws, regulations, or cemetery/crematorium policies.

• Pose an undue risk to the safety of our personnel or the public.

• Exceed the scope of the services agreed upon in the signed Service Agreement.

2. Financial and Payment Terms

2.1 Pricing and Estimates

All service costs will be detailed in a written Service Agreement or Statement of Goods and Services Selected.

• The initial estimate is an approximation and may be subject to change if the services or products requested are altered by the client.

• The final invoice will reflect all confirmed services, products, and disbursements (fees paid to third parties on your behalf, e.g., cemetery fees, death certificate costs).

2.2 Payment Schedule

Unless otherwise specified in the Service Agreement, the following payment terms apply:

• A non-refundable deposit (usually covering third-party disbursements) is required upon signing the Service Agreement.

• The remaining balance is due in full no later than 24 hours before the scheduled funeral service or interment/cremation.

• Last Ride Funeral reserves the right to withhold services until full payment is received.

2.2.1 Late Payments

In the event of late payment, we may charge interest on the overdue amount at a rate of $[Insert Legal Maximum or Standard Rate]$ per month. You will also be responsible for any reasonable costs incurred by Last Ride Funeral in collecting the outstanding debt.

3. Client Responsibilities

3.1 Provision of Information

The client is responsible for promptly providing all necessary, accurate, and complete information required for the provision of services, including:

• Accurate personal details of the deceased (for legal documentation).

• Proof of authority to act as the legal representative.

• Specific instructions regarding the disposition and service details.

3.2 Authorization

By signing the Service Agreement, you warrant that you have the necessary legal authority to authorize the cremation, burial, and/or embalming of the deceased and to contract for the services described. You agree to indemnify Last Ride Funeral against any claims or losses arising from a breach of this warranty.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation before services begin: The initial deposit for third-party disbursements is non-refundable. Any other payments made will be refunded, less the cost of any goods already ordered or services already performed (e.g., securing permits, transportation).

• Cancellation after embalming or preparation: No refund will be provided for preparation services already completed.

• Post-service cancellation: Once the service has been performed or the final disposition has occurred, no refunds will be granted.

5. Governing Law
